The short version
Your input never leaves your device — every conversion, edit, hash, and analysis runs entirely in your browser. We have no servers that handle the text or files you process.
To keep the site free, we show ads from Google, which use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can accept or reject these on first visit, and change your mind any time below.
What we collect — and what we don't
We do not collect: your input. Nothing you paste, type, or drop into a tool here is sent to us, ever. There's no upload step in our architecture.
Things our hosting + analytics may collect:
- Standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamp) collected by our static-site host for security and operations.
- Aggregate usage stats (which pages get traffic, which tools are popular) so we can prioritise improvements. No personal identifiers.
Things ads may collect (if you accept):
- Google AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to show ads relevant to you. Google may collect IP address, browser type, device info, and interaction with ads.
- You can manage what Google personalises at adssettings.google.com, opt out of personalised ads at aboutads.info/choices, and read Google's policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
- If you decline in Google's consent manager, no personalized ad cookies are set and no personalized ads are shown.
Web fonts
The Inter font is loaded from Google's font CDN. Google may log the font request as part of normal CDN operation. No personal data is shared.
Your rights
If you're in a jurisdiction with data-protection laws (GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California, PIPEDA in Canada, similar laws elsewhere), you have the right to know what data we hold about you, request its deletion, opt out of sale or sharing, and withdraw consent.

ProperScript is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
